Age Limit: Candidates should be preferably below 35 years of age for the post of Assistant Professor.
Education Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D in relevant disciplines with experience.
Selection Process: Short-listed candidates are then called for Seminar presentation in the respective Department/ Center/ School and appearing before a Selection Committee for interview. Short-listed candidates residing outside India may give the seminar as well interview through video-conferencing.
How to Apply: Interested Candidates can apply online through website (http://erp.iitkgp.ernet.in/FacultyCareer/homeFacultyCareer.jsp) from 22-11-2013 to 31-12-2013 and send a signed hardcopy print out of online application to “Assistant Registrar, E-III, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur–721302, WB, India”
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Visit the Website http://www.iitkgp.ac.in/ and click on the link Jobs.
2. Select Faculty Openings and Click on the advertisement link.
3. For the first time user, please click on “New User Sign Up” button.
4. You will get an e-mail from IIT Kharagpur containing Application Number and Password.
5. After receiving the e-mail from IIT, please sign in using your application number and password and fill up the application form.
6. When you log for the first time you will be required to change your password
7. Remember Application number and Password for future correspondence.
8. Fill the Details and Submit Application.
9. Take the Print out of online application after freezing.
